Instructor Guidelines

This guidelines covers all an instructor or a teacher needs to know before signing up to become an instructor on Ai Multimedia Academy Platforms.

Physical Class

If you indicate interest in taking part in our physical class as an instructor, the listed guidelines should be followed strictly:

  • All physical classes are held at our designated training centre.
  • a minimum number of days allowed for training are 2 days in a week and the maximum is 4 days per week.
  • Minimum hours per class is 2 to 3 hours per day.
  • For the physical class to take place minimum of 5 students must have enrolled for the course.
  • Class schedules are to be planned between the Instructor and Admin at Ai Multimedia Academy.
  • Instructor’s compensation is subject to the Instructor Terms in the MOU.
  • Absenteeism and lateness are not allowed. If they’re going to be issues that will prevent the instructor from running the class, the instructor must quickly inform the Admin at Ai Multimedia Academy in order to promptly inform the affected students.
  • Classes can be held in the morning or afternoon session but this is subject to approval from the management.
  • Instructor can not unilaterally fix time for the class.

Live Class (Zoom or any other platforms)

Due to the limitation of having one account with multiple instructors on Zoom platform, instructors for the zoom classes will be using their Zoom accounts to deliver the classes. We are working on a centralized technology where all our live classes will be delivered simultaneously irrespective of the number of instructors via our platform.
If you indicate interest in taking part in our Live class as an instructor, the listed guidelines should be followed strictly:

  • Live classes are virtual i.e students can receive training anywhere in the world and likewise the instructor is allowed to teach from anywhere.
  • The instructor must a create a meeting or class link and forward the same to the Admin at Ai Multimedia Academy 2 weeks before the commencement of the live class
  • All names of the enrolled students for the live class will be forwarded to the instructor and he will use this to confirm admittance into the zoom meeting or class.
  • A representative of Ai Multimedia Academy shall be part of the attendees in order to ascertain that those enrolled are actually the ones in the class.
  • Any unauthorized candidate allowed in the class by the instructor will be asked to be removed and if the instructor failed to adhere to this request, it will be assumed the candidate is part of the class and instructor payment compensation will be deducted to compensate for the additional candidate.
  • Instructor’s compensation is subject to the Instructor Terms in the MOU.
  • Absenteeism and lateness are not allowed. If any issues will prevent the instructor from running the class as scheduled, the instructor must quickly inform the Admin at Ai Multimedia Academy in order to promptly inform the affected students.
  • Classes can be held any time of the day subject to the agreement with the majority of the students and approval from the management of Ai Multimedia Academy.
  • Instructor cannot unilaterally fix a time for the class.
  • In the event of network failure that prevented the live class from being conducted, Admin at Ai Multimedia Academy must be promptly informed and the instructor is permitted to reschedule the class at the appropriate time. The new time should be communicated to us immediately.
  • All live or Zoom classes must be recorded and be forwarded to the admin at Ai Multimedia Academy not later than 7 days after the class.

Video Course (Recorded)

Video Courses. are recorded training videos served via our platform through a video streaming service. It entails that all courses must be recorded, edited, and captioned before they can be hosted on our platform.

All videos created must conform to the standard guidelines specified below, and must be submitted for quality assurance verification before they can be uploaded on our Platform:

  • Video format allowed are standard MP4, 1280×720, 1920×1080 resolution.
  • Video with Noisy background or distorted audio will not be accepted.
  • Payment rate is subject to the Instructor Terms in the MOU.
  • The course must be broken down into chapters and each chapter contains a specified number of lessons.
  • Maximum duration of each lesson must not be more than 6 min. If a lesson is unavoidably long, it should be broken down into parts e,g part 1, part2 etc.
  • All video courses must be properly captioned with a separate sidecar file. Do not burn your caption on the video, it must be a close caption in English language only.
  • Instructor’s compensation is subject to the Instructor Terms in the MOU.
  • Aspiring instructors with little or no knowledge on how to create courses can enlist the service of our instructional designers and production equipment/facility at a fare rate.
