This website is owned and operated by Ambient Interactive Multimedia Academy Limited operating as Ai Multimedia Academy, whose current registered address is 10, Ijaiye Road, Ogba, Lagos, Nigeria is referred to in these terms as “we”, and “us”.

2. Access

We try to ensure that the website operates correctly and runs smoothly. However, we don’t accept any responsibility or liability to you if this website becomes temporarily unavailable due to technical issues, or issues beyond our control. We do not guarantee that this website will be compatible with all or any hardware and software which you may use.

3. Your Account

You should keep your registration details (including your password and log-in) secure and must not give them to any other person. You are responsible for all activity carried out using your registration details, whether or not you have allowed or facilitated it. If you discover or suspect that your registration details are known by a third party or are being used without authorization, you must inform us or reset it immediately.

You should keep all your personal information up to date. You may add additional addresses as required, and set a default address for delivery. Please note that we will not retain your credit or debit card details. When logged in to your account, you will be able to check and edit your personal information, see your order history and wish-list.

We provide a platform for accessing education, short training, vocational studies and personal development. We do not currently offer degrees, diplomas or any other certificates that lead to higher education. The certificate you obtain from us currently does not qualify you for higher education in Nigeria or any other part of the world. Access to our live classes, physical classes, online or video courses is at your discretion and does not guarantee your success at work, off-work or ability to secure a job.

In particular, you agree that you will not:

  • Use this website in a manner which causes or may cause an infringement of the rights of any other person or which violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • Make any unauthorized, false or fraudulent purchases;

15. Jurisdiction

The construction, validity and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigeria Courts.

16. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any breach of this Agreement that is a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strike, lock-out, labour dispute, acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, epidemic or pandemic, compliance with a law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, insolvency or bankruptcy of either party or any third party, fire, flood, snow and storm, exceptional weather conditions, difficulty or increased cost in obtaining workers, goods or transport and other circumstances affecting the supply of goods or services.

17. Rights of Third Parties

A person who is not a party to this contract has no right to rely upon or enforce any term of this contract. This does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available outside of the prevailing Contracts Act.

18. Payments, Credits, and Refunds

When you make a payment, you agree to use a valid payment method.

18.1 Pricing

The prices of content on our website are determined by us. In some instances, the price of the content offered on our website may not be exactly the same as the price offered on our promotional channels due to the fact that we occasionally run promotions and sales for our content, during which certain content is available at discounted prices for a set period of time. The price applicable to the content will be the price at the time you complete your purchase of the content (at checkout).

Any price offered for particular content may also be different when you are logged into your account from the price available to users who aren’t registered or logged in, because some of our promotions are available only to new users.

If you are logged into your account, the listed currency is in Nigeria Naira. We have not enabled users to see pricing in other currencies.

If you are located in a country where sales tax, goods and services tax, or value-added tax is applicable to consumer sales, we are responsible for collecting and remitting that tax to the proper tax authorities. Depending on your location, the price you see may include such taxes, or tax may be added at checkout.

18.2 Payments

You agree to pay the fees for content that you purchase, and you authorize us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of for those fees. When you make a purchase, you agree not to use an invalid or unauthorized payment method. If your payment method fails and you still get access to the content you are enrolling in, you agree to pay us the corresponding fees within thirty (30) days of notification from us. We reserve the right to disable access to any content for which we have not received adequate payment.

18.2 Offline Payment

Offline payments are transactions processed asynchronously. The transaction is usually done offline and reconciled manually. Typically, there is a delay in paying offline and reconciling it, compared to online payments where everything happens in real-time, this might cause a delay in accessing the product or services or courses or classes or materials you paid for, Ai Multimedia will not be liable for delay in accessing the products or services or courses or classes or materials.

The following payment methods are allowed on our website for offline payment:

  • Bank transfer to the published account detail at checkout
  • Cash paid into published account detail at checkout
  • Cheque in favour of published account detail at checkout

When the offline method of payment is used by you, you must notify us immediately via email sales@aimultimedia.com.ng for reconciliation, note that you will not be able to access any product or service you paid for until confirmation of payment is done completely. We cannot guarantee a speedy reconciliation process nor determine how long it will take to access your contents.

18.3 Refunds and Refund Credits

We do not currently have a refund policy, so you are expected to make an informed decision before you proceed to make a payment for any of our products or services.

18.4 Gift and Promotional Codes

The Company or our partners may offer gift and promotional codes to users. These codes and credits, as well as any promotional value linked to them, may expire if not used within the period specified in your account. Gift and promotional codes offered by Us may not be refunded for cash unless otherwise specified in the terms included with your codes or as required by applicable law. Gift and promotional codes offered by a partner are subject to that partner’s refund policies.

19. Updating These Terms

From time to time, we may update these Terms in tune with prevailing circumstances and Ambient Interactive Multimedia Academy Ltd reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify and/or make changes to these Terms at any time. If we make any material change, we will notify you using prominent means, such as by email notice sent to the email address specified in your account or by posting a notice through our websites or other means available. Modifications will become effective on the day they are posted unless stated otherwise. Your continued use of our Services after changes become effective shall mean that you accept those changes. Any revised Terms shall supersede all previous Terms.
